What to do if you see an ambulance in Spokane? August 12, 2021 August 12, 2021 admin

Here are a few things to know if you’re in the city of Spokane, Washington.

1.

Police are investigating.

The Spokane Police Department said that there have been no reports of anyone being hurt in an incident involving an ambulance or ambulance-related vehicles.

The city is also offering free medics to anyone who needs one.

2.

Emergency workers should wear protective gear.

If you are going to the city, make sure you have a medical kit in your car or in your backpack.

If a person needs medical assistance, you should use that medical kit and call 911 immediately, Spokane Fire Department spokesman Mike White said.

3.

You should also stay alert to your surroundings.

The police department said it will be providing free meds to anyone in need, including emergency personnel.

4.

Avoid public transportation.

There is a $2 bus fare on the Metro bus.

You can also take Metro buses to the airport and back, White said, but you should be aware that you could be ticketed and asked to pay extra.

5.

If your car is damaged, you can donate it to a local charity.

You don’t need to give anything.

It could be a piece of your car.

The Seattle Department of Transportation is also giving out free medskills.

The Salvation Army is also accepting donations.

6.

You’re not allowed to drive on the streets.

Police and emergency responders can’t drive on streets where the police department says they have been told there are no public safety issues.

7.

Don’t park in the streets and on the side of the road.

If the street is not clear, you could get ticketed.

8.

Donate to the Salvation Army.

The organization said they are asking for donations of medskill items to help pay for their programs.

9.

If there are children in your vehicle, you shouldn’t drive with them.

Police said they were instructed to ask people to put their children in the back seat of the car so they can get them out of the street.

10.

The streets of the city will be closed for several hours on Friday.

The roads will be cleared after 7 p.m. local time.

The event was canceled due to the storm.
